All Wellington Chapter members are invited to a meeting this Thursday to finalise version 1.0 of the IT audit guidelines for securing personal data, which we developed last year. It
will be good to see the results of our efforts being formally released and I would encourage you to get along to the meeting if you can.  At that meeting we would like to wrap up any further comments before we release version 1.0 and also to organise a panel for further development of the guidelines.

If you can't make the meeting you may provide further comments / suggestions to Ron Segal by e-mail, which we'll discuss at the meeting and decide whether to incorporate in the first release.  The draft guidelines are at isaca-wellington.org/privacy/wiki The meeting starts at 12 pm this Thursday, 26th March, at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, Public Trust building on Lambton Quay.  Lunch will be provided so please RSVP to privacy@isaca-wellington.org so that we know how many to cater for.
